Descripción del puesto: Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is responsible for generating hotel revenue by identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and promoting the hotel’s rooms, meeting spaces, and services. The role focuses on achieving sales targets through proactive sales activities, market analysis, and strong customer engagement while supporting the overall commercial strategy of the hotel.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Identify and develop new corporate, leisure, and group business opportunities.
  • Conduct sales calls, client visits, and presentations to promote the hotel’s services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other partners.

REVENUE GENERATION

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for rooms, meetings, and events.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service terms with clients.
  • Maximize revenue through upselling hotel services including catering, meeting rooms, and packages.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Ensure repeat business through consistent client engagement and service follow-up.
  • Handle client inquiries, proposals, and contract negotiations.

SALES PLANNING & REPORTING

  • Develop sales action plans for assigned market segments.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends.

COLLABORATION & COORDINATION

  • Work closely with the Catering, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of bookings.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.
  • Participate in trade shows, networking events, and industry exhibitions.

Customer Service & Experience

  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction from inquiry to event completion.
  • Address and resolve client concerns or service issues promptly.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with key customers.

Requisitos

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality sales roles.
  • Experience in leisure, corporate, group, or event sales within hotels preferred.
  • Knowledge of hotel sales systems, CRM platforms, and revenue management practices.
