Job Objective
The Casino Cage Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all cash handling operations within the casino cage. The role ensures the accuracy, security, efficiency, and regulatory compliance of cashiering, vault, and count room functions, in strict alignment with internal control procedures, anti-money laundering regulations, and gaming laws.
Key Responsibilities
Cage & Cash Operations

Oversee daily casino cage operations, including cashier windows, vault activities, and count room processes.

Ensure accurate handling, reconciliation, and safeguarding of cash, chips, tokens, markers, and other monetary instruments.

Monitor and approve large transactions, high-value exchanges, credit issuance, and redemption activities.

Ensure proper documentation and traceability of all cage transactions.
Compliance & Controls

Ensure full compliance with internal controls, gaming regulations, and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements.

Minimize variances by enforcing strict adherence to cage procedures and control standards.

Support internal, external, and regulatory audits by providing complete documentation and operational transparency.
Leadership & Supervision

Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate cage staff, promoting accountability and operational excellence.

Foster a culture of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.

Address guest and operational issues related to cage operations promptly and professionally.
Reporting & Coordination
-
Prepare and review operational and financial reports for senior management and regulatory authorities.

Coordinate closely with Security, Surveillance, Audit, and other relevant departments to ensure risk mitigation and control integrity.
Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Experience
-
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in casino cage operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Languages
-
Spanish and English required.
-
Portuguese is desirable.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods as required by operational needs.

Ability to lift and carry bags or containers of currency, in accordance with safety guidelines.
