Job Objective
The main objective of the Casino Shift Manager is to oversee and coordinate the casino's daily floor operations during their assigned shift, ensuring adherence to gaming regulations, operational efficiency, and high standards of customer service and safety.
Responsibilities
- Maintain smooth daily operations of the casino during assigned shifts.
- Supervise and coordinate staff, including supervisors and dealers.
- Monitor gaming activities to ensure compliance with internal rules and external regulations.
- Ensure adequate staffing and proper shift scheduling.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
- Handle and resolve customer issues and complaints professionally.
- Manage and oversee cash handling, credit operations, and related transactions.
- Implement strategies to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure proper execution of safety and security protocols.
- Liaise with other departments to guarantee integrated service delivery.
- Prepare and submit shift reports to management.
- Respond promptly to operational issues and emergencies as they arise.
Qualifications
- Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Required Experience: 3+ years of experience in a casino supervisory or managerial position.
- Languages: Spanish, English, preferably Portuguese.

Support Functions
- Regular attendance in accordance with company standards.
- Due to the cyclical nature of the industry, employees may be required to work variable shifts to meet the business needs of the property.
- Upon employment, all employees must fully comply with the rules and regulations of Cipriani Punta del Este to ensure the safe and effective operation of the facilities. Employees who violate organizational rules and regulations may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
- Maintain an alert and attentive attitude at all times and remain calm during high-volume business periods.
- Ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Visual and auditory capacity to monitor gaming floor activity.
- Manual dexterity to use surveillance tools and write reports.
- Ability to respond quickly to floor incidents or emergencies.
