Job Objective

The main objective of the Casino Slot Manager is to oversee all aspects of slot machine operations, ensuring optimal performance, regulatory compliance, profitability, and a positive guest experience in the slot area.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the slot floor, ensuring proper functionality and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor slot machine performance and arrange maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacements as needed.
• Supervise slot staff including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and internal control procedures.
• Analyze slot revenue reports and key performance indicators to optimize profitability.
• Coordinate with marketing to implement slot-related promotions and tournaments.
• Respond to customer service issues, disputes, or machine malfunctions with professionalism.
• Manage slot jackpots, fills, hand pays, and credit procedures accurately and securely.
• Recommend changes or additions to slot inventory based on data analysis and market trends.
• Maintain detailed records for auditing and regulatory purposes.
• Ensure cleanliness, order, and security throughout the slot area.
• Liaise with other departments such as Surveillance, IT, and Finance to support smooth slot operations.

Qualifications

• Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Required Experience: 3 to 5 years in slot operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Languages: Spanish, English, preferably Portuguese.

Support Functions

• Regular attendance in accordance with company standards.
• Due to the cyclical nature of the industry, employees may be required to work variable shifts to meet the business needs of the property.
• Upon employment, all employees must fully comply with the rules and regulations of Cipriani Punta del Este to ensure the safe and effective operation of the facilities. Employees who violate organizational rules and regulations may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
• Maintain an alert and attentive attitude at all times and remain calm during high-volume business periods.
• Ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the slot floor for extended periods
• Manual dexterity to handle small components and machine parts
• Visual and auditory acuity for monitoring slot operations and responding to alarms
• Capability to lift or move objects related to slot equipment (within safety guidelines)
